So, the oven in its current spot can gimbal around nicely. I will shortly put a cabin hook in so it can be fixed in an upright position (when I find a chandlery that has one!).
Next up - our oven sits in a space where a hinged cover can either come down over the oven and act as extra working space, or hinge up and act as a splash guard.
Unfortunately, after I put the pan clamps on the oven, there isn't enough clearance above the oven for the cover to close properly.
The rear "clamp" bit is held in place by a single screw on either side, so this can be swung out of the way when not in use. However, the front one is held in place by two screws either side. This is pretty much necessary to allow the clamps to work. So, aside from remove a screw from each side every time we want to close the cover, I was wondering whether there is some kind of spring loaded screw or pin or something that we could simply pull out in order to swing the clamp out of the way?
These are the ones we have:

Thanks!
