Looks like a Danforth but apparently if you give the rope a good yank, the flukes fold back and you can then easily lift it up leaving mud/weed/muck behind........ Does not sound too good to me - what do others think? Apparently used on Lakes a lot reading the reviews, eBay no. 171551208842 or search under 'digger anchor boat anchor'

Considerable confusion in the two listed lower, from Germany and USA. The photo caption says for boats 17 to 20 ft but 'features' says for boats up to 40 ft. I would not like to be attached to that eye bolt in a good blow.

I fail completely to believe that anything which can occur when you give the rope a "jerk" (advertiser's quotation marks) can be guaranteed not to occur as a result of tugs and snatches caused by wind and wave.
I shall not be buying

Quote from the eBay listing:

First anchor improvement in many years - seriously; when was the last time someone used innovative and anchor in the same sentence or even the same conversation?

They've obviously not visited the ybw forums at any point in the last 10 years!

I am going to get one try it and report back. At the same time I am going to try some new "sea string" as the rode that the vendor says is much better than chain as it has a magnetic quality towards the sea bed. Thought I would anchor off Portland bill to see how it was when the tide turns. Do you think I should let my insurers know?

As Vyv says you would not want to spend a windy night hanging off that eye however it is maybe useful for day boats who lie to their anchor whilst fishing etc. In areas with weedy or foul bottoms and faced with having to move the boat regularly it could be worth having. The designer thinks it is capable of greater things though and will hold your boat in the ocean - no thanks :)
