Dried out on the beach this weekend in order to have a quick scrub off and change the anode.

It was utterly terrifying!:eek:

The noise of the keels scraping through the shingle is horrible and what about when a mobo went past when we had about 2 inches to go and we were bounced up and down?

Good job we were in bed and I could hide my head under the covers :D

Later on I realised I would have been much better off on deck where you can't hear these things.

Anyway, it was a great success - thanks to FC for the tip on where to go and thanks to HWMO for crouching in the mud to change the anode. Saved a fortune.
 
well at least I got you successfully on the shingle then?

Pleased it went well, sorry I couldn't catch up, I had other pressing problems.

yes. JUST!. The wind blew us round so we were perpendicular to the shore and shingle ran out just at the crucial point. It was very good and will be used again. The ground tackle looked in v good shape too.
