Well the weather is at it again!! Swansea had a right battering last night with winds gusting to 72mph in phase 2 of the marina. There was some minor damage to some smaller boats, as the fenders were being blown about, and the boats made contact with the pontoons. The main damage was sustained by 2 of the new pontoons, with a couple of sections being partially ripped from other sections, and twisted, such was the ferocity of the weather. IMHO I think the new flats and the 29 storey apartment block that have been buiilt have had an impact on the wind velocity at that end of the Marina.
For those of you that I know, I have checked your boat, if the Marina has not contacted you, all is well.

Regards
Julian

Checked mine today . The other end of the Marina ( small Boats ) OK down that end . Since those flats went up it's like a wind tunnel even down my end . Put extra mooring lines on this weekend .
