another antifoul question

is it true as i have been tild that the efficiency of antifoul is affected by the time spent out of the water after its application if so how soon before launching should it be applied ta kieron

It usually tells you on the tin for overcoating and immersion times. My last one was 12 hours min and 1 month max.

the anttifoul in question is international micron c.s.c and has no instuctions on the can exept for profesionel use only thanks for help kieron

Google on International Paints and find a spec sheet - from memory I think it's 72 hours max after last coat .....

For us it was about the same - no more than 3 days after last coat applied
