I was wandering round Cowes Yacht Haven at the weekend and saw a Targa 43 on the hard. The rudders and P brackets had been antifouled: is this an OK thing to do? I thought there were issues with galvanic stuff antifouling bronze bits like that.

Rudders and P bracket get "extra" a/f. Also the water intake for the engines and bow thruster tunnel/props.

Main props get polished, shafts get polished and then coated with "waterproof" grease, though this soon gets thrown off. This year all I needed to do on lift out was clean them up with a wire scratchbrush on an electric drill. Took about 1 1/2 hrs for both props and shafts.

have been putting a/f on props, shaft, rudders, p brackets and trim tabs for last 4years. Only prob is getting it all off again end of season.. not a fun job!
