Anodes

Why are the anodes for mercruisers so expensive, £76 quid for 4 bits of zinc. What a rip off, why do we stand for it. and there are still the drives anodes to get.
Anyone looking for a niche market here it is. They must be worth all of a fiver.

should be able to make a mould by the lost wax process and then make your own from cheaper anodes

try keypart on 01923 221490.They do some pattern anode parts for your

It's the same for V***o. Yesterday I bought 2 ring anodes, 2 transom anodes and 2 trim tab anodes - £ 154 !!!!! Was I ripped off? It sure as hell feels like it. OK, they are mags not zincs , but £154. It IS a rip off.
