The ABS is IMO the cosiest BS around. It knocks Soton and LIBS into a relegated league ..... Sadly I won't be there this fall to have a few pain killers and extract the michael from roguewave

I spent a day in Annapolis a couple of months ago, while helping out a friend with a boat in Baltimore - Bacons was still in business then, and we had a nice wander round their second hand shop. My pal bought a second hand S/L 555 windlass for US$ 200

The Annapolis boat show sounds amazing - maybe one day I will be able to make a pilgrimage to it.
