If you refer to the Ann Davison who wrote "Last Voyage" then I believe she died about a year ago. A note inside her book notes her living in Cirencester, Glos.
I was not aware that she sailed the Atlantic. Her book details their flight from Fleetwood, Lancs. down the Irish sea, around Lands End and finally ending in disaster at Portland. If you have not read the book, I would recommend it to you.
Same lady; in order to recover from this disaster she bought a Mashfords 4 tonner and, after taking expert advice, crossed the Atlantic in her, singlehanded. The first woman to sail a long distance singlehanded.
