Android browser

The forum at its best. Thanks for that everyone.

Looks like a beauty contest between Chrome and Firefox. Was hoping someone had found an Android version of Comodo, which I have grown to love.
Use them all on other p.c. but was wondering what people were using.

Just check out the ratings for the browsers in the Play store. Most range from 4 to 5 out of 5 stars.

In addition to your favorite browser, these 2 android progs are, IMHO, really handy and well worth a free download:

Ebookdroid. Views all your pdf manuals and docs in one interface.

Es file Explorer. All local, multiple Dropbox, drive and even ftplocations in one place, cut and paste from local to a drop box or your website easily.

Enjoy

Seconded. ES File Explorer is also very good for connecting to file servers and shared folders. I keep lots of stuff on an SMB/NFS NAS box at home, and ES makes it dead easy to connect to that and transfer material I want on my tablet.

Incidentally, folks, Morgan Computers are punting out manufacturer-reworked Nexus 7's (Mk 1, not the new high-res one) for £100 + VAT including postage.

Will it mount an NFS share on the Android?

I have File Expert. It does SAMBA but not NFS, which is a puzzling omission. I would use it to play audio from an NFS share on the tablet. (Currently I use SFTP which FE does support.)
