Have just spent the entire weekend leaning at 45 degress into a N NE wind wrapped up like a eskimo enduring the rich leisure and cultural delights of Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth and the surrounding Broads. My accomodation, surrounded by identical aluminum sheds with highly imaginative names and the tackier residue of down market garden centres, all rocked gently in the breeze.
As former resident of the Isle of Sheppey, it was with bewilderment as to why anyone would go there without a gun to their head.
As we escaped back to civilization back down the A12 the temperature rose at a steady rate almost doubling by the time The QE11 bridge hove into view.
The boat we looked was a pile as well. :)

Humm do I take it that you are NOT a Happy Bunny then ?

As there seemed top bit of atmosphere hidden in the dialogue !

It all went pear shaped when my Sat Nav took me up a road inhabited mainly by 100 year old grannies driving just below the 30 MPH speed limit in brand spanking new North Korean cars, which they had obviously just picked up from the garage but a few moments previously.
Or do they all drive like that up there. ?

:D We were on our boat on the East Coast the weather has been like that for the last few weeks out there. As I drove to and from the boat from the frozen north a line of cloud started at about the A1 and anything port side heading south was cloudy anything starboard sunny.

As a former resident of the Isle of Sheppey too I know you like me will know seaside towns that have lost their gloss. I had a great childhood on IOS in days gone by but with family who did not escape still there boy has it changed.

Cat B or open ? :):):)

:encouragement: ;)

There was was only one in those days. As yoofs we sometimes volunteered to play football against the inmates as we were allowed to use their heated swimming pool, after which was the only one on the island at that time.

And there was me thinking you were referring to boat construction classifications !
Your familiarity with the penal system explains much ! :):):)

Well recall that on most Sundays (during visiting times) the road to HMs establishments would be clogged with very expensive cars, mainly BMWs with a lot of very dark windows .The windows would only be opened to eject either soiled nappies or a Mcdonalds and mainly metropolitan accents would be heard within. :)
