Just finished wrestling with the replacement bladder for the boats Plastimo flexible water tank, I thought getting a duvet into its cover was difficult, but this was something else.
Just had an idea, if I temporarily seal off either the inlet or outlet and then pump some air into it, it should inflate and settle nicely into the outer cover.
Whilst on the subject of awkwardness has anyone found a sensible method of applying the varnish to the underside of coachroof mounted grab handles? A normal paintbrush does work to a degree but never quite seems to reach all the parts, need a right angled brush.

Duvets are easy if you fold half the cover back before trying to put the duvet in. Having inserted it, you merely hold it by the stuffed end and shake the rest down. I can do a double on my own in no time. As for coachroof handles, I am happy to slap on some Patio Magic and leave them unvarnished. I would only varnish boat bits if I could keep the boat inside, as they often do on the Continent. I can’t help you with the water tank.

Maybe try some foam paintbrushes or remove the grab handles before painting (if possible).

As for duvets, I don't bother. I use quilted cotton covers. Not too thick; go through the washing machine and dry easily.

We use both in colder times, but the quilted cotton covers are a lot easier to manage, as you say. Duvets too big for our washer, so off to the laundry.

That was standard procedure with vehicle inner tubes - when they had such things. Another forgotten art!

A well known fast Welsh guy at a race meeting was really having trouble repairing a fuel line. He had a damaged pre-made pipe and unions. After removing the damaged pipe it was found the union spigots were far too large for the available pipe. Someone suggested he asked me for help.

The conversation went something like " Eh boyo, any chance you can 'elp us get this pipe on 'ere? I've tried, cant do it. It's like trying to get a French Letter on a Donkey!"

I feel your pain............................................

We had a legal friend staying with his mrs. He represented some quite well known peeps in the entertainment business. We were sorting stuff for a pick-nic with a bunch of local bods. Anyway, I asked him to squeeze some lemons and gave him a wooden thinghy to do it.
He looked at it, and asked if it was normally a 'marital aid'....
We still laugh every time we get it out.

Why am I thinking about this when you put up those 'brushes'??

Dunno about that, we had - 5°C a few times just west of Albufeira. Probably Global warming has kept you in better temps.
We seem to be in a little microclimate. You get frost about 100m higher than us and also down in the valley but not at our level (130m above sea level).
