....../.YOURS TRULY
OK background excuses first. After a lifetime under sail and tiny single engines, followed by a live aboard twin engine trawler in USA, we now live on a twin engined mobo back home in UK. Trawler in USA had mechanical throttles/gears , current one has all electronic ones. A ready had one deary me fright being unable to start engines because dumbo had not 'chosen' a throttle set FB up or down and interlocks stop startup. This time just found another in that ALL 4 engine keys have to be in 'on' position or again, no go. stoopid thing is I had put a label on the FB as a reminder, but being lazy had not totaly removed the FB cover and said label was hidden. Memory only kicked in when Trying a start atlower helm and noticed the matching label there. What a klutz, this must be the mobo equivalent of losing the main halyard up sailboat mast..!
And why too is it always necessary to have to rush to the loos in the midst of a panic?
