Anchoring in Cangas ?

Has anyone got any recent experience anchoring over night plus in Cangas please ? I have read conflicting reports of whether there is enough room due to moorings being laid. Thanks in anticipation.

We anchored off the beach overnight about a month ago. It was a peaceful night so very pleasant although there was quite a lot of gentle wash from the ferries. We spent a week anchored beyond the bridge at San Adrian, San Simon and Punto Pereiro- almost had the Ria to ourselves!

Nip around the corner to Moana (~3.5nm away) , better anchorage, easy to get ashore and cheap ferry to Vigo if needed. Send pm if you want any details. We tried Cangas last year but still had swell on way in so went to Moana instead. It looked as if there were a few moorings there but didn't get close enough to confirm if there was room to anchor near the marina. No swell in Moana and plenty of room so haven't bothered with Cangas this year.

As Ashman, I anchored there a couple of weeks ago, 4th to 7th July.
Good wifi from bar at W end of beach O Bruno if I remember correctly
