not a rant or anything but was interesting anchored somewhere to the East of Cowes Sunday afternoon in a fairly well populated bay to fire up the BBQ and do a spot of seaweed catching with the boat rod.. The interesting bit was holding on to the rail mount BBQ, my 10yo son, pooch and any other bits and bobs as large boat after large boat powered out of the bay past us to go home. we were just within the outer edge of all the boats anchored there.

The young'un cacked himself the first time, thought it was fun a few times after akin to a funfair ride and got thoroughly peeved as the newly cooked sausages ended up in the drink instead of his belly:D

Think I'll anchor closer to the beach next time

Seems to have been a weekend for that, we went to Whitecliff on Sunday and were surrounded by speedboats and water skiers some coming too close. Ended up leaving shame as it was otherwise perfect.

We don't own the water but as we consider others out there you sort of expect the same in return - ho hum
