Anchorages in and around the Wash?

Arising from my last post, I noticed on my chart (Imray) I think I can see only 2 for the whole area (excluding, presuming the recognised havens on the N. Norfolk Coast like Blakeney & Brancaster). One at Clay Hole on the Lower Road into Boston/Welland and another in the Bays off Gore Point north of Old Hunstanton.

Are there any more forumites could recommend (in the right conditions, of course)? Is anchoring OK off Wainfleet, for example? It'd be good to get a list going for the forum (apologies if it has been done and this is a troll, but couldn't find anything).

There are 4 Bouys in the Wisbech channel that can be used,ive sat on the hook just off of Hunstanton,theres an anchorage on the charts just off of old hunstanton.

I took a trip into wainfleet last Sept,its entry is close to HW,the channel is quite easy to pick out and there is a friendly club there and visitors moorings.

You can also head up to Kingslynn,Boston and the welland.

I've spent a night near the entrance to Wainfleet more than once, the dog's head banks give it a fair amount of shelter.
I've seen a boat dry out near Tabs head on the ground between the Welland and the Witham, but not tried that one myself!

Off wainfleet is ok but it's often rougher off there than just being further up towards skeggy at the boat compound. The bottom seems to churn up the water and there is a noticeable line where you get disturbed water once you cross it.

Parlour channel
my favorite very peacfull and often seals all around. if weather is right you can dry out on the banks and have a BBQ. You have shelter from most directions of wind apart from over the high water period.

Skull ridge near boston deeps

entrance to the channel to wisbech (near the wreck) there used to be mooring buoys there too.
