Anchor Windlass motor

I have a chenta reduction gear with a car type starter motor which only runs in one direction, I need to replace the starter motor with a motor that runs in both directions.
Electric motor requirements 12 volt 1500 KW reversing, flange mounting.

Any suggestions as to the type of motor to use IE permanent magnet ? wound coil etc
