I have a Vetus Ursus manual winch fitted to my steel boat and wish to change to an electric one.Has anyone on the forum done this? I am trying to find one that doesnt need cutting of steel for the chain coming out of the chain locker or the hawse pipe.Unfortunately the Vetus catalogue doesnt give dimensions for the "chain holes" and not even the fixing bolt dimensions. The electrical side poses no problem.Many thanks.
