Anchor watch on Garmin GPS 120 XL doesn't work

Two weeks ago I bought a in good order working Garmin GPS 120 XL. I needed it to feed NMEA to the VHF. That works fine. Another option I want to use is the anchor watch. The manual shows a display with that option. However the GPS doesn't show that option (alarm settings) at all. In fact the GPS shows every option except the alarm option (where the anchor watch can be selected). Any familiar with this problem?

I have a Gps 120 and the anchor alarm is activated from the 'alarms setup' option in the menu. You can turn it on or off and select how much you wish to allow the boat to wander in 0.01nm increments. I'm not on the boat at the moment but if I recall there is nothing on the display to tell you when it is set but when you go into 'alarms setup' you'll see the current setting. I usually 'mark' my position as a temporary waypoint when the boat has settled after anchoring and then 'go to' that waypoint. That then shows me how far I have moved from my original position. I hope this helps.
