We are going to be spending a few weeks in the sunny med this year and have a broom 35 ft when we had the survey done the guy said our 10 kilo anchor was too small for the size of boat and suggested a 13 kilo one does any one have any recomendations as to what size is best the last thing i want is to be woken up by a dragging anchor ?

I agree, 10kg seems a bit light for the 345 especially given its windage. I would have thought 15kg more appropriate but make sure it fits into the roller before you buy one. You will also need a minimum of 40m of chain or more if you can carry it

We have a 20Kg for our 45 footer and it holds well. As Mike says 15Kg is OK for you.

Look me up if you end up anywhere between Altea and Denia and have a beer.
