Hi,
I hear everyone speaking of portable LED anchor lights operated by a couple of batteries and hauled up the mast at sunset.

Can anyone tell me who makes a good one and where I might pick one up from. If anyone has a website or contact let me know...
Regards

I got mine from Decathlon - look in the torches section

[/ QUOTE ] They don't do mail order and if they only have branches in the UK that's a long trip just for an anchor light from Tasmania!

France may be nearer, there are branches there as well.

OK - Try any camping, caravanning, outdoor type shop/store... these things must have reached tasmania by now, and there will be a decathlon equivalent.

We bought one of those very low amperage Megalights that have a photoelectric cell to switch on when it gets dark and off when it's light. It plugs into the DC system through a cigar lighter socket. With a shade it makes a neat sophisticated cockpit light.
