Just Checking All The Nav Lights Were Working Before I Head Away For The Holidays & The Anchor Light Was Not .
Got Out The Multimeter & Found Power At The Light Fitting ,
But When The Bulb Is In Place & I Turn On The Switch The Power Seems Too Disappear !
Any Ideas To Why Its Not Working ?

The voltage reading at the holder without the bulb is only enough to give a reading to the meter, if you fit the bulb then read it you will see a great reduction if nothing at all, always test a light fitting or supply to a motor etc with a test bulb over 5 watts that way you can see whats going on in the rest of the circuit.

Check for corrosion on all terminals leading up to the holder.

There's a high resistance joint somewhere between the supply and the lamp holder.
As soon as you put the bulb in, the current drawn through the high resistance causes a high volt drop across the resistance.
Check, clean and tighten all connections.
