Can anyone recommend a supplier of high test 8mm chain in the Costa Blanca area.

Good luck in your search! I looked all over Spain & Portugal for high test chain and could not find any at 8 or 10mm. I ended up bringing some back from UK when I next drove out. There is lots of 8 & 10 mm chain out there but none of the type that I think that you are seeking.

Thanks for that David perhaps I will do the same and drive it over. Who was your UK supplier I can't seem to find one here now that I've looked ?

why not collect the stuff.
You can get it from Bradney Chain & Engineering - certified (more than ANY chandler can offer), calibrated chain in either galvanised mild steel or 316 stainless.
Collect and you'll save yourself at least £40 as well as get about the same nett price as you would for "cheap" Chinese chain from cut-price chandlers.
I will confess an interest, I've bought from them and they're one of the clients who took my advice and are actually preserving the Chain industry in the UK, which is traditionally at Cradeley Heath.
