Anchor chain lenght and thickness?

Bought a 4kg anchor Delta for this boat exactly like the photo attached. Your views regarding this type of anchor:
1 Chain lenght between anchor and nylon rope? Thickness of chain?
2 Any ideas how these anchors perform in sand ( Malta Mediterranean )?
3 4 kg should be enough for me? would just use it for stopping for lunch and some cold beers:)?
4 As this would be my primary and only anchor , in the worst case scenario if something wrong happens in engine and winds start picking up, i have an idea to attach to the anchor a longer and heavier chain( to gain weight ), instead of the rope and lighter chain to use while stopping for lunch ( would anchor manually so in order for less hassle i use the lighter chain). Does my idea make sense?

6mm chain, perhaps 20m and 30m of 10mm 3 strand nylon which you can splice into the chain. That will be fine in 10-12m of water.

As a generic answer, I'd say as much as you can fit in your anchor locker.
But for the "lunch and cold beers" scenario, 10m+nylon is probably good enough 95% of the times.
You don't want to have lunch in a blow anyway!

I think Tranona was suggesting 20m of chain and 30m of rope. If you're just stopping for lunch and not leaving the boat I'd use less chain, maybe 10m, although 6mm chain is quite light so no big deal either way. For your emergency situation I'd just carry an extra rope to give you a longer scope.
 
For a planing boat of this size I'd think about weight distribution too.
Close to 1 kg / meter plus the anchor might put 40 kg at the bow, challenging your trim and ride angle.
Also a concern to nose weight if on trailer.
