Hi all

Anyone have suggestions for a supplier?

I can only find Piplers for a Bruce at 20kg. The rest are U.S. based.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Think carefully about what you want and the bow roller has o be set up precisely to hold the anchor and chain under tension on the bow roller preferably pinned in place but clear of your windlass and clear of your hull.

I don't know your boat type or bow layout.

Do you want to retain a 20 kg Bruce? there are better anchors these days and the setup needs to be for the anchor you use, I changed to a Delta.

Do you want a second bow roller so you can pick up a mooring bouy.

A good stainless steel fabricator can make you up a custom polished stainless steel bow roller assembly and a machine shop can make you up a roller its only nylon.

Thanks for the reply bandit.

I have a Fairline sedan 36. This will be the primary bow roller. The original has been removed at some point and replaced with a bowsprit made out of wood which is now rotten. There are 6 holes from the original roller in the deck covered by the bowsprit so lining up should be ok.

The Bruce is a genuine brand new stainless and will be fine for the light use i will give it. I'm keen to get rid of the pirate ship look at the bow :)
