An hour on the river

Relieved the tedium of temporary accommodation waiting for new house to be completed by popping down to get diesel and a pump out at Windsor. Bit gloomy but very mild so a little outing up and down the Bray stretch seemed like a good idea. Saw one trip boat and one other cruiser otherwise river all to ourselves - very enjoyable.

Thanks Fred. Yes, river flow almost insignificant. Might even go out for an hour or two twixt Xmas and New Year - been a few years since we did that.

There was a load of outboards stolen from Hobbs in Henley a couple of weeks ago, maybe a gang going around.

No......it will point blank refuse to run but will however cover everything within range with a oily mess and ensure your clothes and car reek of stale petrol for weeks to come

Ah, Seagulls. OG i can vouch that they also do work after being submerged on the river bed! Not my doing but someone I know had a slight,er, incident with his tender near Marlow. Involved a diver to retrieve aforesaid Seagull. After stripping and cleaning it did work again, although all your other comments apply!
