I was in St Peter Port main harbour years ago when an easterly F10 came in late June. The swell in the harbour was bad and I was glad that we had no one rafted up to us. I did discuss with the crew about going into the inner harbour and going aground, but luckily the wind decreased and got some south in it so the swell abated.
