Our club has a flotilla of 19 people in 7 boats heading for St Kats for the week, in beautiful weather, with multiple activities planned once moored after our 50 mile journey through the beautiful countryside of Berkshire, Surrey and London has been completed.

We will be enjoying Restaurants, BBQ's, London visits to The Tower, Tower Bridge, Monument, Jack the Ripper tours, Borough market, Cycling safari's, Distillery tours and a quick blast to Queenborough harbour for a night, all in fantastic company with varied people aged around 20-70.

If the trip goes as smoothly as our Marathon cruise last month, we will be fortunate enough to get there and back without incident, and may even get to moor on the Events pontoon again, which is a very pleasant place to be.

Thats what its all about

Who are doom and gloom? Are they members?

Stabbings, Slumboats, Registration fees, Closed locks, Absent lockies, Sunken boats, other depressing political type posts about how terrible the Thames is, but it isn't. It's great :encouragement:

Yes I know it's great, but that's stating the bleeding obvious. And the only political type post I've read on the Thames Forum is when you tried to link the stabbing on the river at Windsor to Brexit:confused:

I was trying to think of a suitable response to that post, well done Actionmat :)

Without wishing to stir up any trouble on the normally placid and without controversy "all milk and honey" Thames forum.......
Is there anywhere one can buy a large EU flag and a copy of the CD Ode to Joy ? on the Thames :):):)

If you fill in your self declaration form honestly and truthfully you will get presented with those items when exiting Teddington lock..:)

Absolutely. If you stop off at the Organic Fairtrade Delicatessen in Richmond they have a special on. For every flag and CD sold you'll get a picture of an impoverished fishing family from Brixham and a bucket of metropolitan Remainian tears:D:D
