My Azi has an AMFA domestic pump, which is currently proving recalcitrant. With the help of MapisM, we have tracked AMFA down to FEIT. http://www.feitpompe.net/

So anyone with an AMFA issue, please direct questions to Pietro at FEIT. pietro@feitpompe.com I have not spoken to him, but his written English on e mails is perfect.

It appears that FEIT built pumps for AMFA, and the brand is no longer used.

My pleasure, P.
Fwiw, having spoken with this chap on the phone, I can confirm both the competence in anything AMFA-related and the availability to help also single boaters, which ain't exactly common among builders of nautical components, who usually don't get out of bed for anything less than a purchase of some dozens of their products...

It's actually a latin word, V.
Normally used to describe the behavior of animals or humans (i.e. anything brain-driven, so to speak) reluctant to do what they are supposed to.
I'm not sure if it's normal in EN to use it also for anything else, or it's just a Rafiki extension... :)

My pump is reluctant to do what it is supposed to do...........................

In the language front, you know we Brits are really mongrels, and have acquired vocabulary from many origins over many years, especially a good mix of Greek and Latin. However, as a mere Engineer, my use of English is not always correct, so apologies to you classically trained colleagues. :encouragement:
