T.O.M. Sopwith won some races, and one could argue that Lipton won the cup when he refused to win by default, but I cannot think of an Englishman who's won the cup.

Damn you sir! I was wracking my brain for ages and even went through my books on the Cup to see if Bertrand, Coutts or any of the others might have been born here and emigrated at a young age.
