America\'s Cup coverage on TV is fantastic.

Have just been watching much of the first of today's races on SKY. Really enjoyed it.

The speed of the machines.

Also interesting to see that the professionals make mistakes judging the marks also.

I watched some highlights - had to turn the sound down some of the time because of the electronic music which DROVE ME CRAZY!!!

Also didn't like some of the 'clever fades' when doing interviews. They made the image jump about a bit and then settled down. Lots of quick jumps left me goggle eyed.

The sailing was ok, but the highlights editing was poor. A producer friend once told me that one way to hide rubbish footage is lots of editing and jumps of shot.

I will amend my comments to emphasise that I was watching highlights. When I saw some live action I thought it was very good as well.

I do not have Sky Sports on my Virgin subscription. Which channel is the America's Cup on so I can see if it is worth upgrading

It's on SkySports; headlines are primarily on Sports 1 with full coverage on Sports 2 and 3.
