Amazing new fuel additive

I thought that it would be a bit mean to keep this to myself. There is a wonderful new fuel additive available, specially for diesel-engined boats. Oh yes, you've heard it all before - but this one really works!

I initially found out about it from a dealer in France who covertly handed me a small red plastic canister and advised me to pour it into the tank. The engine ran beautifully, no soot or anything. I asked him what it was and he laughed, and tapped his nose knowingly. But from time to time, I sent my son round to him for some more. I think it goes by the name of "Fluide Magique"(?) but anyway, I use it all the time. It definitely works: once, having not used any for a while, the engine was coughing and spluttering, so I put in ten large cans of the stuff in and hey presto - smooth-running engine. Not too expensive either, only a couple of quid for a big can.

Has anyone else come across this, or tried it?

I've been droning on about millers diesel clean but suppose the name is not as good as Solatron so total waste of time..
Now its not majic, its not rocket fuel, it just cleans everything up and makes it work better.
By the way its made by a firm that makes oil for ships.
Now just drone on about solitron

Do you think some in the wife's cornflakes would reduce her emissions?

Fuel Viscosity

I have had two Yanmar 315HP 6LPA STP engines destroy themselves after only 146 hours and 315 hours so hardly run in. Both failures due to the injection pumps seizing. The result was free flow of fuel and the pistons hitting the valves. The pump relies on the diesel for lubrication. On both occasions the fuel was analysed and turned out to have normal viscosity. Yanmar paid for the first replacement engine but were not interested in even contributing to the second. Does anyone know of an additive that will solve the problem and increase the viscosity of the fuel in the pump?
