Am back to work on Monday after having the whole summer off. Have hardly done any sailing for one reason or the other and now it's my last week, the weather is beautiful and I have crew and the boat is broke!!

Anyone need crew Thursday afternoon/ Friday afternoon and/or Saturday?

(have to be back at Bridgemarsh Friday am as have engineer helping me with boat).

The best I can offer is tomorrow noon until Friday afternoon HW-ish for a trip to RHYC.

If it is any consolation you are not alone. My son (in Wales) had every Friday off for the whole summer and it rained every day but one. He is now back to work on Fridays and deeply p'ed off.

We are away on holiday (as opposed to what? you might ask :p) for 3 weeks from Monday so the weather should be fine for October sailing.

May I offer you a berth aboard FC?
We will be moving to a mooring off Corinthian on Saturday morning early, then resuming after I have done a wee bit of Squib sailing, and off to an anchorage for the night. Return on Sunday.

Know exactly how you feel. Coming down to SYH on Saturday to do layup stuff having had her taken out of the water last week. On the plus side, Mrs Jomo has forgiven me enough to be on parade clutching a paint roller,.......whew.

Hmm,

Me thinks there is a crew mix up:) Plan as discussed with Chris last night was that Pat would be squibbing Saturday and we'll be going for a sail on Laurin Sunday. Might make more sense now for us to go for a sail Saturday and squibbing sunday. In any case maybe meet up some point over the weekend? Let us know if you want to sail Saturday instead of sitting on mooring watching squibs.
