I read somewhere on the forum that a few people with big motor boats name then Tinydick and Penilextension etc.
We have quite a few in our marina but I have not seen any strange names like this.
I told someone in the small craft club that this practice happens down in the South however no one believes me.
If I am right does anyone have any examples that I can show them.

yes, totally wrong, yet again

Hm, no, sorry. Loads of them named after wives, girlfiriends, mythical and historical characters, and some non-words such as Montkai.

The nearest i have seen is "Fancy a Shag?" in the BVI but hardly a big powerboat, just 20footer with outboards..

tite stops your nuts falling off
You used the example......
"big motor boats name them *tiny dick* "

Quick as a flash Steve came back with.......
"Does the opposite apply" (title)
"in your small craft club"
(an example might be Bigus Dickus)

Come on Das Boot, this cannot be just English humour! (grin)

Regards Briani

Re: I quite like...

Sorry Steve did not read the heading as part of the post. When you said your small craft club I was scratching my head trying to remember when I had bought one.
I have bought a few things lately but not a small craft club.
When I was in Ireland someone asked me what tribe I belonged to coming from Africa I had to tell him the Bigus Dickus tribe.
Seriously I am sure I saw something on here relating to naming of big motor boats such as dikhed.
I have taken a bet on this looks like I should stop drinking.

Re: I quite like...

Bit of an urban myth I'm afraid.

You might have to resort to a bit of picture modification, fish a snap of a big mobo off t'internet, slap a text box on the transom, insert some suitable wording, print it off and collect the loot. Dishonest, but would an honest man accept your bet whilst p****d!

Man I am not going to believe anything on this forum anymore.
How can I search for the post so I can bring the culprit to book. I once used your methods to win a bottle of jacks it worked.
I bet someone that Pauce was a word but could only find Paucitey in the dictionary so I had to cut and paste and photostat the new word into the websters worked a treat looks like I will have to be dishonest once again however much it pains me.

Re: The Smallies

Something of an institution in Hartlepool.

A little more respectable nowadays I think, but don't start talking about monkeys. You would have an interesting evening

Short but interesting.

I know that it's well past 1700hrs and all good forumites should have logged off long ago, but I've been giving this important matter some thought.

I may not have seen any boats called "Tiny Todger", but I have seen a few with Littlehampton on the back!
