Major Catastrophe

Reading through the boating mags on the loo last night and there was a warning about shore power dangers.
I have a small boat and to connect up to shore power for running Waeco frifge/freezer, boiling kettle, lights and charging things.
Shore power lead enters through rear hatch and comes into cupboard under helmsman's seat and is protected by a being channeled through a water pipe. Lead terminates in a B&Q RCD (The expensive one that does everything) and then to a standard four point extension block. I then use the extension block to plug in kettle/light/fridge as required.
Am I in any more danger of electrocution than I am at home?
