Leaving berth for a sail for a couple of days on Monday morning with some of our little pals. Reversing down the aisle in Deacons marina when the engine control panel starts bleaping at me. Rafted up alongside a handy boat (bit o' luck), went below to find a bilge full of oil.
A steady, but slow drip of water from my water pump had corroded an oil pipe at the front of the engine (bit of a warning to other Yan 1GM10 owners).
Just what I need 1 week before we leave.
Don't worry......give a whistle - and suddenly the dark clouds disappear. (Is that right).
