Aluminium Window frames

I am in the process of refurbishing the cabin including replacing the windows. The current interior aluminium frames are looking tatty( scratched, faded). Can anything be done to smarten them up? Thanks for advice.

You could get them re-anonised but I belive that it is nearly as cheap to have new ones produced. The main problem seems to be the acid? cleaning that makes any scratches/pits twice the size.
