Hi All
I'm hoping someone can help please?
I am coming to completion of a 12 year project and have decided to upgrade the alternator and have purchased a LR180-03C. I have connected the wire as I believe to be right (having spent all week scratching my head and searching the 'net), but am not seeing any power. I have 4 wires connected to a battery as follows:
1. To negative
2. To +ve via a light bulb from the 'verticle' spade connector on the 'T' plug
3. To +ve directly from 'horizontal' part of 'T' plug
4. To +ve directly from large +ve connection
I am spinning the alternator in the vice with a 2400 rpm power drill.
I am now concerned I have damaged something as I am fairly confident the above is right?
I will now try and upload a photo and edited image.
Thank you for any help
Craig
