so, I do all navigation on iphone, I have been using navionics, but its expired, I see there are new players in the market and wonder if maybe they might be better for me?
Ideally i'd like to use a bunch of old iphone 5's and 6's as we have them in drawers, , they need to be whipped out of pocket in the dark at pullpit, I dont want to use my main phone all the time, so needs to be able to install on a few phones per perchace, like navionics was.., I really only need a good chart, a line showing my COG and Knots, and the little divider that will tell you how far between 2 points.., oh and the tide / current data !, they all great features in Navionics, I am constatnly pressing the 'camera' icon/button though, that locks me out of app, infuriating when your worried your about to run into shallow water., I have asked them to eneble users to disable this, but I doubt they have?!. any reccomendations appreciated.
