Noticed that the small jubilee type clip (gearbox side) on the shift bellows on my Alpha drive is quite rusty, bellows and all else looks fine (maybe not stainless)?
Is it possible to change this clip without removing the cable from the drive?...i.e...in situ..
Any advice appreciated.

Thanks, Rob.

they all go rusty, mine was (old boat) and the new ones new boat is as well not sure its anything to worry about, by the time it 'goes' you'll be replacing the bellow or cable anyway. a simple SS jubilee should do the trick nicely ?

We in the dealerships never use the steel clip, instead we use two small good quality tiewraps. I wouldn't advise using a hoseclip as the bellows move in and out with trimming and if positioned incorrectly it could conflict with either the oil hose from the reservoir or the main shaft bellows.
