alloy spacers for thro mast.

Anyone know where I can get alloy spacers to put through a mast section with bolts, to stop deforming when tightened. Mail order website or solent area stockist would be handy.

i thought they should be ss to cope with the compression loads ??

sailspar in brightlingsea will make ss ones

Sailspar suplied stainless ones for the kit I built up on a Sparcraft extrusion.

All the anti compression inserts I have seen on various manufacturers masts have always been stainless.
