what price can i expect to pay for sailing my mo cruiser from n/west scotland to s/east england. bout 600 n/miles ?

No way, it will take at least that time looking for fuel.

Problem is West to East... and "where from and to"... If the shortest route is through Caledonian Canal, than the canal is three days in itself sea to sea (at a push two)... but will reduce fuel burn.... and be a rather nice trip....

Lots of ifs & buts. Last one I did was from Rhu on the Clyde to the Tyne in a 8 knot Grande Banks via Crinnan & Caledonian Canals - took 4 1/2 days .
