Hi All..... Well, with TM on holls at mercury, would be rude not to go out n "play"...so,... had a pleasant ride across the sail filled Solent to Cowes where all the marinas seemed to be bursting but the river itself was fairly quiet... dropped in to Cowes fuels to quench TM,s thirst (hhhmmm)....while handing over beer tokens, Nick was telling me that although the pace was buzzing with people n boats, I was only the 4th boat he,d served !!!!!...trotted up to the folly reach and could see the IOW pop festival aka mudfest getting warmed up..did a 180 and plodded back to ECM where a certain Bizzy Bee was hiding while the owners went beering and mudfesting ... as I past shepards, a river taxi going up stream had a female person of some dubious repute shouting four letter obscenities at me !!!!!! something about 11pm BALL n FOOT !!!!!!. disgusting !!!!..that Lisilou gets everywhere !!!!! ...returned to mercury for some very tiring relaxation...then Col of this parish dropped in and said beer n natter on Firefly 625,s boat...rude not to !!!!...just sat down, beer not even sampled, fone rings, WINCHY51 (of Brian Rix trouser fame) says his daughter has been injured on board and would I meet him on his birth to assist with mooring.. (not for me to discuss daughters accident)...return to firefly to assist in beer disposal.... return to TM about 9pm...got some great pics of sunset ....10pm, hmmm loverly evening, so quickly packup stuff and went for a night trip to cowes and back in FAB conditions for the first ever SOLO NIGHT RIDE ..got back at 00.15....all in all A DAM GOOD BOATING DAY !!!
