Hi All

as you can see from my previous posts I have been restoring a 1986 Leisure 23sl over the winter, all went brilliant at the launch yesterday at St Just In Roseland. Many thanks To Pascos Boat yard for all their help over the Winter. Also many thanks to all the members on here who have helped me through some Very Newbie questions.

here are some images of the final product

Nice job, hope you enjoy.

Just out of interest, on your 1st picture, I'm sure there's a rear view of my old Pageant, Mardi Gras, which I sold a number of years ago to a chap called Richard. I haven't seen any others with the Westerly logo on the rear quarter. :encouragement:

Thanks Dave, if you are wandering by & see someone on board, say Hi for me please.

They were a lovely couple, let's hope all is OK with them.

it was a lot of work, but I really enjoyed it. I work on mostly classic Porsche restorations so this was a nice break for me. its my first sailing boat so my learning curve was steep, but I have to say I read this forum a lot and gleaned so much from it.

I want to do a larger boat this winter maybe a 29-31 bilge keeler again. other half not keen as she wants to enjoy fruits of my labour and doesn't want me awol again this winter.

I put about 600 hrs and £1500 in parts but this did include overhaul of saildrive and hundreds of stainless fittings and new wood panels.

thanks for the kind comments all

Dave
