When I did my dazed kipper a few years ago, Alison and her dad were among the other students on the boat.

I can confirm that she's as beautiful in the flesh (well, in foul-weather gear) as she is in pictures. She's also extremely intelligent and, well, just plain *nice*. Her dad runs a building firm and is very smart, practical and down to earth. He sails/sailed a small cat in the Essex mudflats somewhere.
