Does anyone know the name of the marina west of the two main marinas in Alicante. I have been told that there is a new marina in Alicante that has vacant berths and wondered whether it was this one.

Err? West of Alicant is inland
Guess you might be referring to Santa Pola which is a bit further south down the coast. The old marina has been refurbed and there is a new one a couple of miles to the north.

Hi again, the marina I am refering to is exactly west of the Port of Alicante entrance. I'm told there are now three marinas in Alicante, the deportivo, the RCN and this one.

Yes, they were building them when I was there in june 05.
I just anchored for the night in the big basin there and popped into the main marina in the morning to fuel up.
The crew rushed up to what they thoaght was a Coke machine, but were a bit surprised!
