Aldi offers

From Thursday Aldi are offering portable "PowerStations" for £25 for those who believe they are useful http://uk.aldi.com/special_buys/productnl_32.html and a battery/alternator tester for £3 http://uk.aldi.com/special_buys/productnl_320.html Probably not much use though.

Also other stuff that might be of interest to the DIY car mechanic (I fancy the seat)

Power stations are a major cause of global warming - no wonder Aldi is trying to get shot of them cheap - Ring the Kyoto police!

The tester ... is same as the Draper model at 3x the price and certainly told me when my alternator was goosed ... it also gives good indication of battery charge ... cheap and cheerful !

Power station ... seems ok - similar to one I bought at Halfords for 35 quid ...

We bought a power station last year from Aldi. It has pumped up many bike tyres at the school where I work, our Landrover tyres and started quite a few cars.

Definitely a good buy.

Very happy with my power pack - unfortunately mine doesn't have the compressor ...

Vic, every time you post something like this it costs me an arm and a leg in Aldi or Maplins or wherever because I have to have one.... whats it for?
Just replaced my Aldi power station because I came to start the car and the ps would not deliver any oomph at all, bought another one in Machine Mart.
