Hi, I need a favour from anyone that is near their almanac!!

We may shoot over to Jersey for the weekend tomorrow and I was wondering what time was the best for the strongest push through the race. I seem to recall it is 3 or 4 hours before HW St Helier, which tomorrow is 13:09.

Can anyone have a look and confirm that for me javascript:void(0)

Our almanac is on the boat so i can't check for myself.

Is there anywhere online that you can check this, I can get HW's online (so in theory should be able to work it out!) I understand Reed's are now online, has anyone used it? If so, how does it work when you can;t access the internet (or is it all pre-downloaded?)

Sorry for dumb questions!

Thanks
AS

But having wind with tide, not wind agianst tide, takes priority over having a "push" from a fair tide, in a fast mobo. So I'd do it in this order:

1. Determine wind direction
2. Go thru the race when the tide is with the wind, regardless of whether tide is fair or foul

All that said, rorecast is v light winds, from west, so you can ignore the above on this occasion!
