Alderney courtesy flag?

A recent thread suggested that there is a seperate courtesy flag for Alderney. (I assumed you flew the Guernsey one as it is the same bailiwick.)

If so what does the Alderney one look like?

Also what should you use when visiting Herm or Sark?

Does the latest version of Tom Cunliffe's Channel Pilot cover Sark? My version has nothing...

Thanks

If you can't find the Guernsey one, try a French tricolor. You'll win lots of new friends and enemas.

The Alderney, Herm and Sark flags are all listed under Guernsey on the Flags of the World Website. also Brechou and Jethou

Guernsey flags

But to make my post look pretty here they all are anyway (if the links work) It is still worth reading all the history etc on the FOTW website

Sark

Don't know about the Tom Cunliffe book, but we have just come from Sark, and my Cumberlidge pilot book (2001) is already out of date - there are now nice visitors moorings (although they do now charge!) at Havre Gosselin (where there's a landing stage) and Greve de la Ville.

They are managed by Sark Moorings 01481 832260 or 07781 106065

We were at Havre Gosselin yesterday and there are 15 visitors' buoys

[/ QUOTE ] If the 5th edition is the latest it seems not. Review

Thanks for the replies. I'm surprised TC still doesn't cover Sark. Fortunately we had the pilot in the YM series on board which gave very good coverage.
