alden yacht

I am doing some research on an Alden Yacht called sea gypsy which is now owned by a friend's father and is undergoing a refit in Florida. I was wondering if anybody on these forums had heard of the Yacht and also if here was any history of it having raced in cowes any time?

Or you could perhaps trying contacting the Alden design office - they might have some info / history?
